In life, not thinking before making decisions is dangerous or rushing into anything without plan might be risky. Example is rushing into a record label deal.
Now, most upcoming acts feels that the fastest way to get known is by rushing into a record label deal, this might be true in some cases but not in all cases, if you rush in at times, my friend, you will rush out.
Record labels are good, but rushing into one without strictly considering d terms & conditions they gave you is dangerous or not. Take for example a broke rapper that was hungry to get fed, signs a deal to be paid 200k per month, regardless of how much that comes through him into the label, then after six months, he became a star that 200k can’t even buy him a pair of shoes and trousers, cause he is now a star and has to look expensive.
So with this my point of view, I will ask you to review any request to join a label well and seek advice from higher people before signing papers, because it is not every artist signed into a record label that will become a superstar.
